Good news for all those out of you who love to play games on iPhone and/or iPad. âXCOM: Enemy Unknownâ, the turn-based tactical role-playing strategy video game will be brought to iPhone and iPad in this summer, by the publisher 2K games.
XCOM Lead developer Jake Solomon told Polygon that 2K China will port the game to iOS devices. The PC and Console gamers received this game last year. The iOS version of the game will be intact, and will have all features which the console and PC versions of the game have. Of course, the game on the iOS devices will not be as nice as itâs on PC and consoles.
A video demonstration of the game shown by Solomon clears that the game will work very well on a touchscreen device.
In the touchscreen version, the gamer will have to just tap on the intended space in order to move the soldier over there. They will be able to change their view of the battlefield with simple gestures.
The publisher 2K Games showed the game running on iPad only. But it claims that the game will work on iPhone as well. There is not any specific date f or the release of iOS version of this game, but, it will be happening anytime in summer.
According to gameâs developers, âXCOM: Enemy Unknownâ will be a premium product, and thus, will be priced accordingly.
Solomon said:
Itâs going to be priced appropriately for what it is. Itâs going to be a premium price point. It is the game. It is the full game.â
